Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • Establishing an entity’s computerized General Ledger and recording therein all transactions relating to the company’s income, expenses, assets and liabilities that warrant accounting entries. This is carried out based on applicable Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant legislation where applicable.
  • Periodic Reports for Management which will include a Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet and basic supporting notes to these at the end of a reporting period.
  • Issuing of invoices and credit control
  • Supplier payments and reconciliations
  • Liaising with and providing assistance to client entity auditors in relation to the audit of the financial statements
  • Maintaining an appropriate filing system for the safekeeping of accounting records and relevant supporting documentation.

Tax Compliance and tax administration
  • Registering the company with the various tax authorities as necessitated by the entity’s circumstances.
  • Preparing and arranging for the filing of periodic reports in relation to PAYE, Social Insurance, VAT, VIES, Provisional Corporate Income tax as required by the legislation and administering the payments to the relevant authorities. 
  • If requested, providing general information on the provisions of the various Cyprus tax laws such as (Corporate) Income Tax, VAT, and Social Security Contributions, but will not advise or provide formal binding opinions on any specific issue in relation to taxation, or the taxation implications of complex local or international corporate structures or transactions.
